bullet Bees are the only insect that produces food eaten by man

bullet The scientific name for a honeybee is Apis Mellifara

bullet Honeybees comminicate within the hive by what is known as the waggle dance, yes honeybees are dancers!

bullet It takes about 556 worker bees to produce 1 pound of honey, thats about 2 million flowers that get visited by the honeybee

bullet The honeybee makes it's distintive BUZZing sound by making 11,400 wing strokes per minute.
